More art from June part deux

Here are more drawings I made back in June

More art from June

I haven't updated this since June, and though I'd like to add my most recent art, i'd rather put my pieces in order. These are all figure drawings I did in June, during my Hartford Art School summer art program.

Summer art- Portraits

Here are portraits- one of my dad, one of my sister- that I've made. I really want to keep making them, cuz I feel like I'm finally starting to get good likenesses.

Summer art- Figure drawing 1

We're also doing a lot of figure drawing.
Sorry about the pictures. I'm trying to figure out a way to get good pictures of the drawings. This is what I have for now:

Summer art- still lives

I've been going, for most of the summer, to a summer art program at the
HARTFORD ART SCHOOL
for high school students interested in
ART SCHOOL.
All the drawing till now, has been obvservational drawing. Before starting the program, I made this drawing of my violin:

We started out with still lives. The first one was of a ton of white painted objects. I wish I had had more time to work on it. It was a good excercise though:

The next still life had a whole bunch of things. I chose to concentrate on a statue they had. Again, I totally wish I had had more time, but I think it looks pretty good at the level I WAS able to get it to.

More summer art to come

Recent stuff

I haven't been updating with drawings most every day like I promised myself I would.
I've been working on stuff though.

I) THING THAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE FIRST:
This poster

I don't know if The Grounds can sue me for posting this before it's officially out.
I SUSPECT NOT.

They have not given me the information concerning the event though, so I can do nothing from this point on.

II) CURRENT PROJECT THE SECOND: An animation.

I don't want to give too much away because there is so little to show (it's a very short, hand drawn animation). I'll just show this little thing I made of it: III) Thing the third:

Actually, nothing. I just want to add this quick little drawing I made that I like:

Alright, I'll try to update more bye.

Mounts

Here's some drawings of cartoon people on cartoon animals that I made at a restaurant. That first post was me expanding the concept. I might do more.

Posters

The world of poster-making is a perilous and steep tepui which one must tame. And my arduous journey, about a month ago, into the alternative rock-culture of West Hartford began, with me contacting local teen hangout and music venue The Grounds asking to let me make posters for them. Here is a chronicle of my rise into the turbulent business of volunteer art-making.This was a preliminary sketch I sent them to show them what I was made out of. But soon, I came up with a second creation. So they accepted the offer and soon I had made, a creation independent from my first two preliminary sketches, this poster for their most recent event (last Friday):More to come

Informal introduction

This is my second post.
Sometimes, instead of utilizing computer programs such as Photoshop to quickly sketch a character, I'll use a pencil and a pen.
And some Bic markers that I found laying around.
It's become something of a series for me. Here you may see a sample platter of them.

Good night

Formal introduction

Hello,

I am Felipe. I am 15 years old. I like to draw. I have another blog. Another blog I made at a more tender age. A blog where I tended to digress and preamble. I will do the same here too. You're welcome.
In this here blog, I will post my drawings. You may look at them. You may enjoy them. You may not.
Here is a taste of my work. You may wet your lips (visually speaking). There is more to come. Who knows? This might chronicle the rise and fall of perhaps one of the most distinguished gentlemen of our epoch. Time will only tell.
